The main message of the book is to use diverse integrated approaches in agriculture development that will enable to address the challenges of climate change and food security. Exploiting the diverse farming systems, crops genetic resources, and integrating suitable measures  and efficient management of soil, water, pests and diseases becomes necessary for promoting sustainable production. On the post-production side, support services including efficient extension services, post-harvest processing and marketing are to be strengthened. 
    Achieving and maintaining food and nutrition security is essential to meet the Sustainable Development Goals, especially when small holders are constrained due to climate change, lack of suitable technology approach and sustainable policy options is focus of this book.
