“Global Warming” is recently developed terminology used for indicating the combined impact of climatic changes, extremity of temperatures, atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide, rising trends of natural disasters. The green house gases are accumulating in the atmosphere due to wasteful and luxurious lifestyle of human beings. In the broad perspective global warming refers to increase in average temperature of the earth in close vicinity of near surface air and ocean in recent decades and its projected continuation caused by steadily thickening blanket of human induced green house gases (GHG) such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and fluorinated gases used in refrigeration and semi-air conditioner manufacturing. In the present conditions, combating climate change is the greatest challenge of human history. Biological diversity or bio-diversity is that part of nature which includes the differences in genes among the individuals of species, the variety and richness of all plants and animal species in different scales in space- locally, in any region, country or world and the types of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems within any defined area. Accordingly, the biodiversity deals with the degree of variety of nature in the biosphere, which can be observed in the generic variability within species, variety of species within a community and the organization of species in an area into distinctive plant and animal communities. This diversity of life of all the three organizational levels- genetic, species and ecosystems, is now being rapidly modified by modern man, which may result in a great loss to future generations.
